I am a Spanish tutor teaching online and I am from Guadalajara, Mexico, the city of tequila, mariachi and churro!
Guadalajara is also one of the best places to learn Spanish from Latin America for its neutral accent.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and one in Psychology and I also work as a teacher in a high school and in university in my city. There my subjects are Spanish, English and Social Science.
I mainly teach adults and teenagers but I also have a long experience with kids.
I teach every student’s level from very beginners to conversational Spanish with advanced groups.
I offer a trial class to break the ice and to show my students how I teach, ask for yours here ! Afterwards, you will be free to decide either to continue or to look for another tutor.
I usually teach grammar using a lot of conversation as another vehicle to learn. I use English to help my students in the explanation, I give homework but I am quite flexible if you need another approach. In fact, I like to customize the class according to the specific needs of my students, to support them in their learning path and to create a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere to learn fast and joyfully.

About me: I like to read books and comics and watch movies—my favorite music is rock music and although I’m not a sports person, I like to swim.
I like to travel to different places in Mexico and learn about new cultures, places, people and food. These trips helped me learning the complexity of each culture and the importance of being flexible and to communicate according to the person I am talking with.
If you are going to travel throughout Latin America, prepare yourself for an immersive experience; learning Spanish will only make it better!
If you are student and you need to improve your grades, don’t worry, it is not as difficult as it can seem if you have someone next to you.

My fees for one on one lessons are normally 18 or 20 US dollars per hour depending on the pack, you will decide to buy.
If you a small group of students the fees are just a little bit higher, so it will be easier for you and your friends to cover the cost, 24 or 27 US dollars per hour in total.
If the lesson is for a kid under 10 year old the class will cost 22 US dollars per hour.

Price and conditions:
For adults classes, you can choose between two basic packages:
A 5 weeks package at 20 US dollars per hour for one on one class and 27 US dollars in total for a group class
B 3 months (13 weeks) package at 18 US dollars per hour for one on one class and 24 US dollars in total for a group class
Hereby you can proceed with the payment:
A- Five weeks package at 20 Us dollars per hour for ONE on ONE classes and 27 Us dollars in total per hour
If you want to buy a pack for one kid under 10, you can pick up one of the options below
B- Three months (13 weeks) package at 18 US dollars per hour for ONE on ONE classes and 24 US dollars in total per hour for group classes.
RULES
– Payments are upfront as much as arrangements about schedules. In case of hectic schedules, we can arrange classes week by week.
– In case of the 5 weeks’ package, you can cancel or reschedule (with more than 24 hours notice) your lesson one week of five. If you will do it more than once, you will loose it/them; this means, that on a normal base, you have 6 weeks time to use your package of 5 weeks’ lessons.
In case of the 3 months’ package, you can cancel or reschedule (with more than 24 hours notice) twice; this means, that on a normal base, you have 15 weeks time to complete the 13 weeks package.–
If, during the lessons’ period, you have a trip or vacations planned, don’t worry, we can freeze the package for a 3 weeks period maximum as long as you are going to inform us with one or two weeks notice.
– If you bought a 3 months package and you do not want to continue afterwards at the end of the package, you will have to inform us 3 weeks before the end of it. In case you will not have done it, you will have to pay at least another 5 weeks package.
NOTE: We always apply a 24h notice policy in case of cancellation or rescheduling of the lesson.
