This is Fátima, I am a Spanish tutor and I offer Online Spanish classes.
I was born in Mexico from a Mexican family, more than twenty years ago. I was born in Jalisco, where we have tequila, mariachi and churros and I am actually living in the capital of this state, Guadalajara.
My father is a Spanish teacher so I have always had his guidance and inspiration. Since I was very little, my dreams was to become a teacher as well.

I started to speak before I could walk, that’s what my mom says. I like to consider linguistic intelligence as one of my strengths.
I am definitively in love with languages.
At university, I decided to study Hispanic literature and linguistics because I love reading and discovering new authors. During those years, I realized I am completely in love with the Spanish language!
I started studying English when I was twelve with a native teacher and I consider myself very fluent.
During my college years I studied German and Japanese and also Nawatl, a pre-Hispanic Mexican language. I know a little of each one, I like to think I could survive if I had to use one of them.
I loved being surrounded by books and people; I have even worked as a librarian for about a year! Very nice experience!
I offer every kind of Spanish lessons. Hereby I list some examples:

My students are normally adults, teenagers or kids.
With kids, we learn playing. The Internet offers several tools to play and learn online.
With teenagers, I normally support them in their school work and to improve marks and become fluent.
With adults, I use different approaches depending on the age and level. Normally I teach them grammar but I also share videos/readings/audios and speak Spanish a lot because conversation is one of the key to learn a language.
I normally use several materials in my Spanish class: a regular book to learn grammar, audios, videos and readings for comprehension and to improve dictionary, movies, songs, etc.
About me, in my spare time, I also enjoy swimming, running and biking and one of my nonacademic goals is to participate in a triathlon race, one day. Fashion is another of my big interests. I always enjoy a nice meal, from any country that’s why I can cook many Mexican dishes. My friends say I’m like a grandma because I also do cross stitch and regular embroidery, I also use many Mexican sayings and know a little too much about teas and remedies for someone my age.
Fees are normally from 18 to 20 dollars per hour for individual classes or 24 to 27 dollars (in total) for group classes!!

And if you like you can choose between 3 different options:
-5 weeks pack for adults
-3 months pack for adults
-Special pack for kids under 10
The 5 weeks pack costs only 20 dollars per hour in case of one person and 27 dollars per hour in case of group class.
– If you want to buy a pack for one kid under 10, you can pick up one of the options below, at 22 $ per hour.
The only thing you will have to do is to choose the number of hours you want to have per week on the window hereby.
If you want the best price, we offer a 3 months (13 weeks) pack at only 18 dollars per hour in case of one person and 24 dollars per hour in case of group class.
RULES
– Payments are upfront s much as arrangements about schedules. In case of hectic schedules, we can arrange classes week by week.
– In case of the 5 weeks’ package, you can cancel or reschedule (with more than 24 hours notice) your lesson one week of five. If you will do it more than once, you will loose it/them; this means, that on a normal base, you have 6 weeks time to use your package of 5 weeks’ lessons.
In case of the 3 months’ package, you can cancel or reschedule (with more than 24 hours notice) twice; this means, that on a normal base, you have 15 weeks time to complete the 13 weeks package.
-If, during the lessons’ period, you have a trip or vacations planned, don’t worry, we can freeze the package for a 3 weeks period maximum as long as you are going to inform us with one or two weeks notice.
– If you bought a 3 months package and you do not want to continue afterwards at the end of the package, you will have to inform us 3 weeks before the end of it. In case you will not have done it, you will have to pay at least another 5 weeks package.
NOTE: We always apply a 24h notice policy in case of cancellation or rescheduling of the lesson.
